To be effective in this position; you should be comfortable with designing software application and undertaking hands on software development activities.

Job Description:

Overall Experience: 8+ years Relevant Experience : 6+ years

Location: Sydney, Melbourne Australia

Salary package: starting from AUD 100,000 superannuation

We will sponsor PRs after 18 months subject to meet other eligibility criteria's for candidates who are in Visa's

Job Description:

Acting as the software engineer of the group to perform design and implementation tasks for our various platforms.

Main accountabilities are

• High level python scripting skills to automate manual data entry/process (huge data)
• High level excel skills eg pivot tables (Excel proficiency )
• Preferably some Telco background
• Willing to work from their North Sydney office for three days a week for first 4 week collaboration and training, and then once a week.

Technical Skills:

Mandatory:

• Advanced level knowledge of Python in large-scale applications.
• Data processing (ETL) pipeline development.

Highly Desirable:

• Knowledge and experience with Django web framework and ORM.
• Full-stack development experience.

Good to have:

• Programming Languages: Pandas, Scala, Java, Golang
• Hadoop Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Hive, HBase, NiFi, Spark.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of telecommunications datasets and formats such as ASN.1.
• Good working knowledge with relational and non-relational database backends such as MSSQL, MySQL, Cassandra/HBase etc.
• Test automation experience

• Knowledge of working with DevOps tools such as – Bamboo, Jira, BitBucket/GitLab, SonarQube, Coverity etc.
